Hey! Wondering if you guys could help me out. I'm from Malaysia and hedgehog knowledge here is quite limited. My hedgehog, Bacon is 3 years old. Is his skin under his quills supposed to be like this? It's not peeling or red but it looks rough and scaly? kind of bumpy like crystals or fish scales. He's not losing any quills, he eats and drinks fine, runs on his wheel every night. I tried googling for photos of what normal hedgehog's skin look like but i couldn't find any. Is this something i should be worried about? Help me out

I’m not sure why it looks like that. I haven’t seen that before. Maybe try some flaxseed oil on his food to see if it helps, and if it doesn’t, try seeing a vet and asking for a skinscrape. That doesn’t look too normal.
