first off, i would check to see if the person giving away the hedgehogs knows his hedgies background you wanna find out as much as you can about his or her parents. if not that doesn't necessarily mean it is all bad just preferred i know nothing about my hedgiie but i would not trade her for an other one.
And, i dont think a heater would be THAT much. Maybe like i am totally guessing here but 30$ more ?
