Hello,

So we were two weeks away from home and my hedgehog had someone to look after him daily. When we came back we noticed he had yellow crusty patches on the face and under the ears. Have someone ever experienced something similar?

Looks like mites or a fungal infection to me. A vet visit is best because skin issues in hedgehogs progresses quickly. I hope your hedgie feels better soon.

My hedgehog hat something like that too. We took him to a vet, and it was because he hat a lot of dry skin stuck in his ears, so it needed to get removed. It could be the same thing here?
