Hey, just another quick question!

Where do you all buy your coroplast from? I have been having the hardest time finding it here.
Would you be so kind as to include the price and quantity of it from when you purchased it? Thanks so much!!

Hi!

It would help to know where "here" is ;)

I had luck finding some at an art supply store in QC, Canada (Omer de Serres) they have different thicknesses and colors.

Otherwise I've seen coroplast for sale at some printing shops (they're often used to make signs) so you should be able to track some down that way.

I paid a little less than 20$ for a 4' x 8' sheet

signage stores is another good place to start. here in B.C. we have quite a few stores called things like fastsigns. they have all different colors and will often cut it to the size you need as well. Let them know you are using it to make a cage and not a sign and they may even give it to you for cheaper.

I'm having trouble finding it here in South FL as well and online when you buy you have to buy in bulk.
Try a Google search of: sign shop (your zip code)
I had several show up here in Florida. I called around to get prices and the store I bought it from even cut it to size for me.

Hi Emily or anyone looking for coroplast,

I wanted to let you know, since I know a lot of people were having trouble at Home Depot stores (as there employees aren't always the best trained). You may need to ask for "corrogated plastic sheets" because they may not know what Coroplast is~ heck I didn't know what everyone was talking about on here until I looked it up! Not guaranteeing that they will know either way, but sometimes it helps to be specific. :D

Hope that helps.

Good for mentioning that. You are right. The people at the Home Depot here didn't even have a clue when I said corrugated plastic. We walked the aisles until we found it.

I live in Stillwater, Oklahoma ;)

Anyways, thanks for helping me out everyone! I haven't went out and looked for some yet, but we have a Hobby Lobby here in town that should have some. There is one sign shop that I know of, and we also have a Low's, but not a home depot. Thanks for giving me ideas!

Oooooooooooklahoma, where the wind comes sweepin' down the plain,
And the wavin' wheat can sure smell sweet
When the wind comes right behind the rain.....

Sorry, couldn't resist. When my youngest was so sick for months when she was 12, we spent a lot of nights watching late night musicals on TV and Oklahoma was one of her favourites. Now whenever I hear or read the word Oklahoma, the song pops into my head.

Haha, couldn't resist, could ya? That's so funny that you know that song! I live in Oklahoma and I'm probably one of the only people that live here that don't know it. Sad that even you know it, lol

heehee, I've known it since I was a child. My parents took me to every musical production that ever came to our city.
Ha, lucky! I have heard it was really good!
I have yet to even see a video of it.

Its used for various things things in cages, namely for C&C style cages to build walls against the side of the cubes to help retain heat and retain the hedgehog inside the cage (small ones can sometimes squeeze through the squares of the walls and many will climb up the sides). Also used as a floor in the cage.
