We used to think she was a pinto, but now we aren't sure. Here are a few pictures:

A pinto is X colour with some parts of no pigment, so there are more than one kind of pintos.

Oh its working now. defininately ur hedgie is an algerian chocolate pinto.

She looks like an Algerian Grey Pinto, or maybe dark grey even. Wait for Bryan or Reaper to post with the right answer, though.

i was thinkin maybe grey, but i think the mask is too light. When you can see the bands very well, it makes the colour seem darker, cuz the white doesn't overpower it.

look at the smaller pics of her on the "signature" pictures. I think shes a chocolate, aspecially now that i double checked and looked at the new algerian chocolate pic on the colour guide.

Oh, and in spiked up pictures, hedgies look darker than they usually do. (more bands are showing)

and they are darkish pics. (the fur looks grey tinted kinda)

But she look like Tobiano. Quills look like half and half... doesn't they?

High pinto and tobiano are not terms used in hedgehogs..

I didn't say anything about the term Pinto... all I said is that High Pinto and Tobiano aren't terms used to describe hedgehog colours...

The photo gallery is open to the public. We don't erase peoples comments just because they are wrong. The point is the International Hedgehog Association does not use or recognize the term "tobiano" in describing an African mixed breed pet hedgehog's color.
