Hi, So i have a question. its similar to my one i had before about the hedgehog and bunny but this one has to do with a hamster.

Anyways,

I was wanting to know if it would be ok to have a hamster in the same room as my hedgehog?
The hamster would be in a aquarium with a screen lid on the other side if the room on the dresser, would it be ok for them to be housed (IN THERE OWN CAGES) in the same room?

Please let me know your thoughts on this, thanks

Yes. I have all my pets in the same room. Hedgehog, birds, and mice. The cages are all very close together. As long as you are not allowing contact between animals that are natural enemies there is no reason why they cannot be housed close together. Just make sure that each animals enclosure is secure (no escaping) and they are far enough away that they cannot get to each other through bars of cages or anything like that.

Also make sure to practice proper hygiene so that they cannot spread diseases to each other. You may need to separate them (in different rooms) if one animal gets sick.

Yup, it is safe. I have a hedgehog-bearded dragon-mouse-rat-hamster-etc. room. No problems yet. :)
