I came back home today and when I pick up my hedgehog, he has this yellow dried thing around the left bottom side of his mouth. Should I be worried about this? I tried taking it out gently like it was something that was just on his fur but no it’s latched on to his skin.

Maybe pus from a wound? It could also be "male stuff" dried onto his skin. I hope he's fine by now though!

I think Ragou is correct about being boy stuff, my guys always had some on them, I've read they're pretty well known for doing that. You should be able to clean it off him or just let it fall off in time. I used Aveeno oatmeal bath to bath them, it's not supposed to dry them out as much. Good luck
