So my hedgie, Chestnut, 4 months, male) finally let me hand pick him without the huffing after 5 days coming home. But he doesn't really going on his back yet , he flails and panics so I don’t often put him on his back. So today I was playing with him and i noticed a bump on his belly near genital area. I attached some photos, they’re not that good since he dosent like to be on his back yet and was moving a lot. I looked at photos of male hedgehogs and they don’t seem to have it, and those with cysts don’t look like that either.

The bump is soft not hard when I touched it and dosent seem to bother Chestnut. He’s eating normal, drinking water normal, still active especially at night on the wheel. His poop and urine is normal looking. The place I got him from said that he never had problems before. There’s also no blood ever.

I haven’t gone to the vet yet since I need to find one and I don’t get paid till next week just in case I need to pay for lab , etc. But most likely he’s going to get his first checkup with a vet next week.

Idk, I just got him and finally got closer to him and now I just noticed this weird bump. Is it normal? I read on the forum that some male testes/ penis drops when matured ,but they didn’t provide pictures so I wasn’t sure .

If there’s someone who has experience in this please let me know while I’m looking for a vet . Thank you in advanced !!!

That outie belly button looking thing? That's his penis. Hedgehog testicles are internal, although some are still large enough that you'll notice them. And their penis is sheathed, well, right about there, just like that. He's fine. Nothing to worry about :)
