[Pickles]

So I was wondering if the following behaviors were weird or strange....Pickles, my 9 week old hedgie, will only explore for around 5-10 minutes and then when I go to hold him, he will just curl up in my hand and go to sleep. Is this normal? I am trying to keep the area nice and dark but that does not seem to help. Also, today, he was sprawled out (like superman ) in my hands but it really is not that warm (its around 74-75). Are these behaviors to be concerned about? Thanks!!

Sprawling/splatting is perfectly normal ^_^

He's still a baby and still sleeps a lot. It could also be that you just have a cuddler on your hands, rather than an explorer. My hedgie refuses to explore, no matter what I do, how dim the lights are, what toys I put in front of him. He'll just search me out and snuggle up next to me or crawl into my lap.
