I wake up at different times throughout the week, although I usually go to bed about the same time. Will it really affect Lily if I wake up at 8:30-9 on weekdays, and then don't get up and let light into the room until maybe 10:30 on weekends?

Honestly, I didn't notice much of a difference with Sonic and Prickles when winter rolled around and there wasn't as much sunlight, but if you're concerned, you could always get a light and set it to a timer (That's what I do for my hedgehogs). If you're a light sleeper this may not be the best solution...

I used to worry about that too... I know hedgies do better when they have a reliable schedule. And I would guess it depends on the hedgie how much you can vary that schedule before it becomes a problem. An easy solution that I've incorporated is to put my hedgie's light on a timer. That way I can be sure she's getting the right amount of light & dark and that it's consistent.
