My hedgie had 4 babies about 5 weeks ago now. I know the sex of 3 of them, but it's been nearly impossible to figure out what the sex is on the 4th one. I need to figure out soon because I need to put the other male in a separate house soon and I don't want to accidentally leave a male in with the females or put a female in with the males. I've been handling it and it will kind of unball, but not all the way, no matter how long I wait. One of my shirts is in their current house, so they know what I smell like. Is there anything else I can do? Thanks!

I'm not sure if it'd work for a baby or not, but the suggestions I've seen for older hedgehogs is to put them in a clear container (like a glass bowl) and look through the bottom. Maybe you could give that a try?
