Hi, everyone,

Today, after drying Teemo after her foot bath, I found this tiny, tiny pink worm on her towel.

I have never seen this bug before and I only feed my hedgehog cat food, dried Phoenix worms (black soldier fly larvae), and occasional veggies that are already washed. Could it be an infestation/infection or is it a random house bugs?

The pink worm creeped me out tho. It was very small and moved in a way that creeped me out. It was a very small and thin pink worm and it's the first one I've seen and I checked her litter box and cage and haven't found any other worms...

It could be some type of carpet bug that was living in the towel. If you are SUPER concerned, you could take it into the vet and have them see what it is. Otherwise, I would just keep an eye out for any more bugs in your hedgehog's cage and around your house.

Yeah I'm going to check again today if there is another worm. I was worried it might be lungworm or something but I don't even know where she'd get lungworm from...
