So my Sniffles has decided to COMPLETELY ignores the fact that he has a litter box.

Sniffles will climb up to his food dish and water bottle, and he will eat, and get a nice drink!
&& even sometimes a little kitten treat thats somewhat low in fat ~Yums
And while he eats... he will poop. I finally saw his tail.. :]
ANYWAYS
So hes eating.. and pooping.. at the same time..
and all of sudden..
HE PEES TOO!
So now I have this nice little running peepee poop stuff up there.
So then he decideds to walk allll in it.
So now I have little poopy paw prints EVERYWHERE to clean up.
I can't move his poop to the litter box to try and maybe get him to understand,
So I soak up what I can of the pee on some poop tickets (toilet paper) and put that in the box.
He still... Ignores it.

I don't know what to do.
He can do this!!
I just wish he would.. NOW
and make my life at this point in time with him.... a HECK of a lot easier instead of cleaning up after him 2-3 times a day! >:[


Any tips?

Larry is right, some (many) hedgies will never use a litter box. It's quite routine to just have to clean the whole cage and not just a litter box.

When you say he climbs "up" to the food dish, do you mean he has a ramp and a loft/second floor? Is it completely enclosed and safe?

Yes he has a ramp. Completely safe for him. He loves it.

Is it completely contained (ie a wall all the way up, or covered) and the loft also? There are a lot of very unsuitable 2nd levels and many people don't know how bad they are. A fall from mere inches can kill your hedgie.

So, It's been a while. For sure. I just wanted to share something.
After asking and reading about litter boxes, I finally gave up putting his poop into the litter box for him all together. The next time I cleaned his cage and changed his blanket, he decided to start using it XD I guess he didn't like the dirty environment he was making for himself, and realised I wasn't gonna be his maid anymore. He is FINALLY using it. <3
