These pictures may not be much but I thought they were pretty cute!~ I've moved Roy into a nice cage(put in cage liners after the photos were taken) . We put in a toilet paper tube in there and he had some fun with it and snuggled in my night shirt :D !~

play play play~

more play!

Here he is all knocked out with his hedgie butt stick out. My boyfriend said he looked like an amputee(sp?), but thats really his tail sticking out.

That is an aquarium. It is made for Aquatic life, not mammals. the ventilation is absolutely horrible in an aquarium, the fumes from the little ones poo and pee have no where to go. There have been countless threads on the dangers of an aquarium. Why then do you still choose to use one? and of course, like always, ill be the bad guy for pointing it out,. but i don't care. Its not like you are completely new to the boards and havent had the chance to read the multiple threads about this.

And the plastic on that homemade wheel is much too thin and will be warped in now time...that is why one every thread and website about making a wheel it says to cut down a 5 gallon bucket and to use the thickest mil available

Thanks for the comment. The wheel is an easy fix and I'll get right on that. My enclosure is 10 inches tall and the bottom is 2 feet by 2 feet. I have read and looked at all the enclosures on the housing page. I thought that because I clean it every day (wash it out and have cloth liners), and that the cage was pretty wide and the sides weren't huge like a normal fish tank it would be ok. The cage cover is 4 of the wire cube shelving put together.

even with sterlite containers holes are still needed along the sides to provide proper ventilation. I really am not trying to be rude, I just get frustrated and i appologize for lashing out a bit in my previous post. and 2x2 sounds pretty small after you factor in all of the accesories that are in there...the minimum floor space for our little ones is 2sq ft, but that is unobstructed floor space....and 10" tall is an escape risk unless your cover is weighted down or attached. an industuious hedgie can climb that box and be over the sides in no time at all...one other note...if you are leaveing that tube in there unsupervised it needs to be slit down the middle so he doesnt get stuck adn end up injuring himself.
