:roll: i woke up yesterday morning and found my hedgie has a huge acne on the side of her mouth.. its red in color, and its swollen... I am pretty worried about this, do any of you have this kind of experience? is there anything i can do, like something i can put on? I am not sure if she is hurting or not, but when i try to touch it, she is not avoiding, i believe its not hurting that much!

Is that the only one? Look on her legs, under her legs and under her chin. If there are more, it could be a staph infection. It responds well to antirobe but you will need a vet visit.

It might also be an ingrown hair.

i checked my little hedgie this morning again, and a little red scalp come off from that spot. I found this only on this place, but not on her feets or chin.. i hope everything should be alright, i will watch and check on her closely in these days.

She should be fine then. Just watch to see if more appear and if they do, it's off to the vet.
