My roommate had two sugar gliders, Aang and Aku. I actually posted in the Off Topic board about them this morning, talking about our pets in the "What's your story" thread.

Well, two nights ago Aang seemed a little off. His ears were droopy and he didn't really want to eat anything. Finally we got him to lick up some honey and he seemed better. Yesterday, he was almost back to normal, jumping around and eating normally, so we felt better. We knew we still had to keep an eye on him but we thought it was alright.

When my roommate woke up, Aang was gone.

I wish I could understand why things like this happen. He was only four months old, and Aku is perfectly healthy. We are all heartbroken.

Goodbye, little one. <3

That's so sad. :(

I do remember just reading about your roomie's sugar gliders too. I'm sure you both loved him very much and did all that you could.

Don't forget to give your little ones extra love tonight. :)

Sorry for your loss.
