If you cover the holes with chicken wire, there is a risk a hedgehog will still climb.

Ideally, you will need to make high Coroplast sides so that the hedgehog does not climb the bars and injure themselves.

Should be at least high enough that you hedgehog can’t stretch over it and reach the bars!

Would also be a good idea to make sure the ramps aren't too steep! Don't want your hedgie's back getting hurt :) I hope it works out!

Just keep in mind a hedgehog may not use all that vertical space. Some of them never figure out ramps at all. You're better off with a larger single level. Looks like that one probably comes needing to be assembled? If that's the case, I would just assemble it so it's one large area. Well, honestly, those are just storage cubes, you could disassemble it either way and rearrange the grids. You can use coroplast for a new floor.
