Hello all!
Holly had her spay on January 15th. I am a future vet (hopefully) so I got to watch which was awesome! Before we decided on this surgery, she had suffered severe dry skin, flakiness, and quill loss. She also had blood in her urine and on her stomach. After multiple rounds of different medicines, her skin and quill loss improved and is now better, but she started bleeding more and the vet and I decided to spay her. Her uterus was 10 times the size that it should have been and was not a simple spay. The vet was amazing and removed the entire uterus and took extra steps to make sure nothing internally damaging happened and that there were no negative after-effects inside of her. She is now doing well and is considerably smaller and has a lot of loose skin. She is doing well and I thank you for all of your prayers and thoughts.
