my female hedgehog had hoglets eight weeks ago. she was a rescue hedgehog and was around seven months old when i got her. she is one year old now, and i separated her from the babies two weeks ago. she started using her wheel a lot more often (everynight for so long. i fall asleep before she's done with it, and i dont sleep until three am sometimes.) but she isnt eating. i give her 1/2 a cup of food nightly as thats usually what satisfies her, but when i go in there to feed her, theres still some left over. this started happening very recently. around three days ago. she's still eating some of it, but saying half of it could even be an exaggeration. i dont want to lose my baby. she was a rescue from multiple poor homes. she was returned five times before i finally got her, and it took her awhile to feel secure enough to settle into her new forever home. we're bonded to one another and i dont want to lose her. what should i do? her vet has strep, and i dont know what to do. she's my sweet girl and im scared for her =(. (im adding photos because she's cute, and maybe you can tell the difference. the first three are from before.)

Just curious, has the temperature changed? I was having heating issues and Remi began eating less and not using her wheel. Once I fixed it it was better.
sort of, but it's constantly changing, and i dont know what to do. my bedrooms ac doesnt work, so i got one of the air units that go in your window + a heater bc it doesnt provide heat, just cool air. but where i live the weather is so unstable and crazy, I'll have the heater on but it will heat up outside and then i have to turn it off then switch to cool air. later it'll get cold outside and freezing in my room, so i have to switch it again.

Try to softer her food with few drops of water, maybe her teeth are not so stong after giving birth. Hope she will be ok.

Do you have a heat lamp and thermostat for the cage? That will make it easier to maintain a constant temperature.
