Hi I am new. My name is Amanda. I was just wondering how much out of the cage time most of you give your hedgehogs?

I don't know what is consider "proper" time, but I let my guy out to run around about two hours each night. I think that is his limit because he books it around the living room several times, and then curls up and takes a nap after about that time. I put him back in his cage and he won't wake up for another hour or so. If I take him out and hold him (or just put him on the couch instead of the floor) he just sleeps.

I take my hedgehogs out for about an hour at night.

Atleast 30 min per day, though more if you can. Just judge how your guy acts and when he gets sleepy let him sleep.
