I live in MN, and it's really cold here now. If I order mealies online, will they make it here alive or will they die from the cold? Does anyone have any good suggestions for where I can get mealies? Local bait shops don't carry them and the pet stores nearby are out; I want to get some for Turbo for christmas.

You would need to ask the supplier. Some won't ship in too hot or cold.

its not as cold here as it is in MN, but i'm pretty sure the path our mail takes to here goes through some pretty cold areas.> Mine always arrive alive and i have ordered from both grubco and wormman. Grubco gurantees live arrival, so even if they did die fromthe cold, they will refund you or send you another package of them.. I'm not sure about wormman, but i hear good things about him too..

Cold isnt bad, it just makes them go dormant, FREEZING is bad because it will kill them.
