Nose close to wheel while running

Just as title says. When my hedgehog runs on her wheel her nose looks like it's almost about to touch the wheel. I'm worried. Does she need a bigger wheel? I would take a picture, but she will only run in the dark.

The most important factor to look at is that their spine is totally straight, not bend along with the wheel because then it is clearly to small and they can get back problems.
Mostly the reason why the nose is so close it's because he's running up the side so he'll always be somewhat close i think haha.
Can you take a picture of them on the wheel? Even with a flash in the dark, or maybe a video?
Sounds like the wheel is possibly too small. For me personally, I find 12” too small for many hogs, thought is fine for some of the smaller guys. Most need 14”+. Many plastic bucket wheels are only 10”, and I personally think this is a very dated standard and is much too small for any normal hedgehog. How big is the wheel?

11" I believe... I am definitely going to upgrade her to at least a 14". Do you have any recommendations for where I might find a 14" wheel? I looked through a lot of ones on Etsy, but did not see a 14".

if it’s 11” I would say it’s too small based on what you’ve described. I use the 14” metal wheel by tictac wheels for my boy (he is 480g). I’m not familiar with other brands unfortunately! Maybe niteangel or bucastate? You could try source even a 12” or 12.5”, you’d be surprised about how much of a difference even just 1-2” would make.

Sadly I am in the US so I would be paying $170+ for a 12" wheel from Tictac ToT. I appreciate the input though! I will definitely look for a 12.5" or 13" wheel
