How important is a liner or bedding? Because my little girl poops all over the liner and pulls is up and moves every thing. I have her in a large 105 quarts container. Can i just keep her on the container floor? she has all the things she needs Hedge bag, toys, wheel, hiding containers etc.
Thanks

I would be worried about her slipping on the floor if it gets wet, especially if it's plastic. Some people have had success with velcro-ing down the corners of liners to keep the hedgie from tearing them up. You might try something like that. I believe others put dishes and wheels on the sides to try to keep it from being moved. Since she rearranges, velcro might be a better option for you.

You need some type of bedding to soak up the urine otherwise she will have it all over her.

You could also cut a piece of coroplast slightly smaller than the cage floor and then wrap the fleece around the coroplast and place in the bottom of the cage. It will help keep her from shifting it all over. :)

You can take that one step further by going to the bedding depatment at wal mat or most other retailers and get a set of "sheet stays". they act kinda like garters and you attach them underneah the piece of coroplast to each side of the fleece. no way to dig it up then unless she moves the entire piece of coroplast.
