Hello everyone.. My name is Crystal Smith and I am the proud mama of Harriet a 3 yr old female. Not really sure of her color... but VERY pretty.... I, along with my family (3 kids and a hubby) raise and show rabbits. So, including the 60+ rabbits, I have 5 guinea pigs, 2 English Springer Spaniels, 1 tabby kitty, 2 Quaker Parrots and Harriet. Thank goodness we live on a farm!!!

So, HI from us here in Central IL!!

Welcome to Hedgehog Central. :) How long have you had Harriet?

This may go without saying, but that's a lot of bunnies!
I have had Harriet just over a year. She was 2 when I got her.

And yup.. that's a LOT of bunnnies.... we have 10 litters due in the next 4 weeks so, lots of babies for fair!!

I am HIGHLY interested in a 2nd HH. There's a gentleman in TN that has one but he's 6 hrs away from me!! Are there people that do HH trains?? Maybe could get this little female to me.. she's about 6 Mo old or so...

THanks

If you'd like a hedgehog that's closer to you, there's a person in Lansing, MI that's trying to find a home for their hedgehog right now. I really want to take her myself, but my dad would probably have a stroke if I tried. :( She's a one year old female, and the owner is willing to take $75 for the rehoming fee. She's not selling any supplies with her though, other than a bag of food.

You might try signing up for this yahoo group: http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/hedgehogtrain2/
It's a group of people who are willing to drive/be stopovers for hedgies that are rescues (it's only rescues, though, so if the gentleman is a breeder then it probably isn't an option).
