Hi guys!

I have had my new baby hedgie Pixie for a little over a week now. She has settled in well and is very social. I havent changed her diet at all since i got her form the breeder, but her poops are now green and runny. Is this something i should get her checked at the vet for? My breeder says it could be stress related with the new home, but a friend of mine who is a hedgie owner says it could be a little infection.
What is your take?

You could see if you can just take a poop sample in to the vet instead of taking her out for a visit right now. If it's an intestinal infection or something similar, they should be able to tell from a fecal. Then you can take her in for a wellness exam in another week or two when she's had more time to settle in & you have more time to get to know her & think of any issues or questions for the vet.
