Hello everyone!
My hedgie is over year old. She has stomach wounds twice before, treated with ointment and antibiotics. Today, while bath, I found a bad wound, at the same place, but this time looking differently, as it looks like claw skin. Do you know what can it be? I am so worried about her. Thanks for your help in advance!

Our hedgie was causing open wounds by pulling out hair. Vet told me that when they injure themselves something is wrong. They cannot reach a lot of parts of their bodies that may actually be the cause. Are you sure not another infection? OUrs turned out to have two very severe infections UTI's after curing them he then immediately had ecoli so we had to treat for that. Several urine tests to help with ID cause. your little guy is telling you something is wrong maybe vet should culture urine. Good luck.
