Hi All,

My hedgie just gave birth on Saturday 3 june 2017 morning. Even since then till today (6 days) she have not been eating much. Only about 10 kibbles so far.
I am very worried because since yesterday, she came out of the nesting hut and foamed on her mouth twice (not anointing).
With that, she also had vomiting action, but only foam came out.

This morning, the foaming have stopped, we tried to force feed her with worms, she chewed it and spat it out. She looks so weak now,

Any advice, or tips will be the most appreciated!!

Thanks

What is the status of the babies?
Normally if a hedgehog doesn't eat for 24 hours you should start syringe feeding, but if the babies are still live disturbing the nest is a bad idea.
Is there any breeder nearby you might be able to foster the hoglets with? At 6 days they will not survive if the mom dies.
The best situation would be to foster the hoglets and take mom to the vet.
Otherwise you may lose the mom and all the babies.
If they cannot be fostered, you should still take her to the vet, but this would result in the babies likely all dying and would be a hard choice to make.
