Ok so we have mites and have seen the vet etc. as I descirbed in another post.
Here is another question about mites: can I catch mites from my hedgehogs, can my dogs catch mites from the hegehogs?
I have held the hedgehogs in small towels sitting on the couch where the dogs sit. I have not put the hedgehogs down on the couch. The towels go in a hamper and I wash my hands after I hold the hegehogs. I have worn the same t-shirt and hugged the dogs.
I also wear disposable gloves when I clean the cages and wheels etc.
