Hi everyone,
Just being a concerned hedgie mom.
So I had just given my hedgehog, sonic, a bath and noticed he had a few quill loss while bathing and in the towel when drying. He will be turning a year old next month so I was thinking maybe quilling or is he too old for quilling!? He also does have dry skin. Exactly a month ago he had gone into the vet for a wellness check and had a skin scraping for mites and was negative. But now it looks like he has some sparse spots so i’m very concerned.

I’ll attach some photos.
If anyone has recommendations or similar experiences. Thank you!!

His skin looks pretty healthy, but if he has dry skin (I know it looks different after a bath) I would suggest going to the vet just so they can see if anything else is going on. Don't worry, if he has mites, they will not transmit to you
