Gus got a new spikey sib a few weeks ago. (Of course they have never met and never will meet!). Meet Marley! They are an unsexed Madagascan Lesser Tenrec, and are about 7 months old now. Impossible to get a nice pic of them as they’re currently in torpor, and just have random bouts of activity every other night - and when they are active and want to come, they are surprisingly quick from what I expected.
have to say, it is very odd to have an animal with quills who rarely, if ever, huffs. It’s mildly concerning coming from Pygmy’s who if I didn’t get huffed at by, I would be questioning if they were sick 😂
