Hi everyone!

I have great news...well, for me!! My fiance' says that he wouldn't mind the hedgie in our bedroom! He's actually fallen in love with her which is so exciting for me! When I first got Miss Muffet, he basically viewed hedgies as "one person pets" but now he can't wait to see her everyday. I know it may not be huge to some, but for me, it's been a wonderful thing! <3

So basically the only thing stopping us at this point is her wheel! We use the Giant Comfort Wheel which isn't too bad and we've fallen asleep to it many times. However, in our bedroom it'd be a different story since her cage will be so close to the bed. I'm quite handy and I think I'd like to make my own wheel. I know someone said there's a tutorial on her on how to make your own. Could someone please send me that link? Also, any tips from people who've made their own would be greatly appreciated. Woohoo! I'm so excited to have our little girl in our bedroom with us!

I made my own wheel and it ended up being really fun and didn't take long at all, I'll pm with the details You said you are handy so you'd probably enjoy it to and do a great job

Thanks everyone for your responses! I'm excited to get this started!!!
I hate having her on the first floor while our bedroom is on the second. I just wonder if my fiance' will still bring her to see me in the morning while I'm getting ready for work!! She usually wakes up for a quick run about and snack in the morning but I never see her because I'm always upstairs getting ready. So he's been taking her out and bringing her upstairs to see me when she does this! It's so nice to see her cute face before heading off for another day at the office!! :lol:

My husband used this tutorial to make ours, but we subbed in a cake lid instead of the bucket and made a pvc stand. It makes hardly any noise at all.

My fiance' has been keeping up with bringing my baby to me in the morning- every day this week and I haven't even been asking him!! I just love her little face...and feet...and tiny nub of a tail and....! :lol: I can't believe she's going to be 4 months in 2 weeks~ time flies!!!
