Hello all, I'm back.

So a while ago he was losing quills due to quilling. I made sure that they were naturally falling out and they were so all was good. He ended up getting some dry skin during that time so I got a humidifier to try and help with that and it's usually 40-50%. however, now he's done quilling and none of his falling quills have the bulb at the end and it's only around his lower back. upper back is completely fine. hes losing a lot of quills, more than he should be and I believed it was the dry skin so I had the humidity and kept putting some skin moisturizer on him every other night as he's a little bit of a bi*** now I figured from pain from quills. Him losing a bit, when he balls up I can see quite a bit of his skin and I dont like it, but noticed there's very few quills growing back in as of now.
His skin is still dry and I'm unsure if this is still causing losing quills. I give him a bath once a month. Out of every night taking him out, I've only seen him itch once. He still rides his wheel on a dailey bases and stills acts just normally except more grumpy then before when he was regularlly quilling.

I need advice on his skin and other possiblities the quill loss could be.
