My hedgehog Luna recently started limping. It’s her left hind leg that is hurt and it’s starting to worry me. I was taking her out of her cage and set her down to walk and all of a sudden she is limping. Her back lack sort of drags while she walks and I got really scared. I don’t know what to do. I’m trying to set up a vet appointment but the closest one is in 3 weeks! She seems to be doing ok. But then today when I took her out again she started biting her foot and it started bleeding. I don’t know what else to do. She’s not even a year old and I don’t know how it happened either. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I think it's time for a vet appointment. Call them again, or see if there is an emergency-type vet that gets her in sooner. If not, just keep her comfortable. I would take away her wheel and not let her run around as much so she doesn't injure the leg further.
