So tonight u bought Penelope I've of those small rubber Kong balls they give to dogs. She absolutely loves it. She was biting and pushing it around and got all her little treats out of it.

awesome,I wouldn't have thought to give a Kong to a hedgie. what size did you get?

I considered getting a kong my hedgehog, but worried it would be too big. Can your hedgehog manage with it?
in the end I got treat ball meant for small animals (yellow ball with carrot pattern) and my hedgie does seem to enjoy trying to get his treats out

They make really really small ones for little dogs. You can find them at most stores or probably on line somewhere. I actually bought mine from Wal-Mart. Mine loves the crap out of it. She sticks her nose in it and rips it around.

I've bought one for Pixie. I haven't gave it to her yet. I'm going to wait until she wakes up and I get her out of her cage so she can play with it. I'm glad your hedgie loves it. :grin:
