Purina Kitten Chow is a horrible brand of food for your hedgehog to eat. It's is full of fillers and junk that your hedgehog cannot digest. You need to switch to a HIGH QUALITY cat food and look for protiens (meats) as the first ingrediets. There is a posting from REAPER that has a long list of acceptable cat foods to chose from.
When you are switching over, do it slowly and mix the two foods, so that you don't upset your hedgies tummy.
