I was wondering if anyone could post some brands of litter that are safe, I know it should be no clump, but I didn't see any at petsmart the other day

most people use the yesterdays news pellet litter.

i tried yesterdays news pellet stuff, and immediately my hedgehog thought it was treats, and no matter how many times i took it out of his mouth, he would not stop eating it. and i got uncomfortable with that because i read online that yesterdays news can contain pieces of plastic and other bad things. i really didn't want sonny to accidentally eat something really bad. so i returned it and got carefresh. i only use it in his litterbox and although its extremely messy when he walks out of it [because he trails it out after he plays in it], its softer and he likes to dig in it, and the best part is he won't eat it.

Hey.

I use a type of bedding for my litter box. I believe it is called Boxo... or something like that. It is made out of recycled cardboard boxes. There is also one made out of recycled egg cartons. I like the idea of them...and Sniffles seems to enjoy it as well.

I keep mine on wood shavings so don't have a litter box, but i've heard that some people use chinchilla sand for litter trays.

I use crystal litter because it doesn't clump and doesn't create dust.
