Hello.
I am thinking about getting the XL MidWest Rabbit Cage for my baby hedgehog. Is this a suitable cage? I’m taking out the weird extension hide and putting my own in there. Here is what the cage looks like:

Looks good to me! I would possibly consider not using the upper area, or adding some kind or railing and then it should be fine :)

Its okay, since its just under the min size you really want but you may find you can't fit as much enrichment in it!
You will get a wheel, a hide and maybe a tunnel, if you have space for something bigger you can add more things like foraging trays and more space for your hog to just run around.
You don't have to its just a suggestion just a lot of people end up finding 3ft by 2ft is to small.

Also they can climb bars and they squeeze out and go missing in the house, or get stuck in the bars and get really badly hurt, so if you get it I advise using something to block about half the bars off at the bottom, there will still be plenty air circulation so don't stress over that!
