I would have posted this sooner but I kept forgetting. I was wondering if pyrantel is the same thing as ivermection. On the bag the vet gave me to take Herisson's medicine and syringes home in there is an add for invermection/pyrantel (that is exactally how it is written invermection/pyrantel). Is pyrantel the same thing as invermection?

No they are two different drugs that do similar things. I believe some dog dewormers use both as the combo is supposed to be very effective for ridding a wider variety and ages of worms.

Is there anyway you could get Revolution, instead?
It's much safer.

I don't have it and I know that invermection is bad. I was just wondering if pyrantel was the same thing as invermection because of the ad on the bag. Just to clarify I did not take my hedgehog to the vet because of mites. The medicine I was taking home was Baytril.
