Hey everyone,
Rocko is almost nine months old now and is doing very well! I believe we have an issue, however. Rocko runs on his wheel obsessively, for hours every night, at full speed. Recently, ever since he stopped growing, he has been losing weight because of how much exercise he gets and how low-fat his foods are. I took him to the vet to make sure that the weight loss wasn't caused by anything serious, and she said he was in perfect health, but a little thin. Her guess was the same as mine, that there isn't enough fat in his diet to make up for how much he runs on his wheel.
Can anyone recommend a good, higher-fat food that is still hedgehog appropriate? He's currently eating Chicken Soup for the Cat Lover's Soul Lite and Wellness Indoor Health.
