I'm thinking it depends on the size of the cage, but I don't really know =/

I'd like to know the answer to this too. Anyone?

I am thinking about 2 cubes wide... 4 feet long (Maybe 3...) and 2 cubes high..

100 watts is plenty, you could even use a 60 watt. The second link is the better item in my opinion.

So I think I am going to do the 100 Watts... I think that is good...

One more question! I am trying to firgure out what cage I want to get. I thought about plexi glass, and I decided against it. I might do a C&C cage, but I was also thinking of making it out of PCV plastic. My dad is a designer so he has lots of it. It can bend when really hot, so I can heat it and bend it into shapes I want, and I might make a loft... But I would make it have a LOT of venlation (sp?)!

Any draw backs to using PCV plastic?

You need to decide on your cage before you get a heat emitter. Not all cages are suitable for heat emitters.

I realize that, but the PCV plastic is a lot stronger than the bins. It is as strong as plexi glass so it wouldn't melt. I would cut a lot of holes for venalation. The emmiter would be about a foot above the cage, to ensure it wasn't too close. I would have a thermostat also...
