Maybe try a waxworm? Probably just one a day, they are pretty high in fat.

I was told that mealworms aren't good for hedgehogs? If I remember right, I was told that they offer little nutrition (except maybe protein?) and they don't digest them well. I know in the wild they're insectivores. At least I think I know that. So I'm confused on the whole issue. I think it was my vet that said that, but I honestly can't remember. We were told that cat food is great for them. I had bought some pellets that were specifically hedgehog food, but that magically disappeared, so I'm feeding her cat food.
