Hi, I usually go to school during the week and come home on Thursdays and I noticed that my hedgehog's food was still full. My mom and sister usually take care of him and keep his food and water filled while I am gone and I took him out to clip his nails and I noticed he was acting strange because he was letting me clip his nails. I then sat him on my bed to look at him walk and he couldn't walk much at all and he was very lethargic. I placed him in blankets and put my heater on to keep him warm and he didn't seem to have a cool stomach but he did later. I also fed him a piece of his food, and he ate it but then threw it up that same day. That following Monday, I brought him to the breeder I bought him from. He was very wobbly and unstable when he walked and fell down on his side. She said he seemed to be dehydrated and said that he's just getting old and they can sometimes have trouble walking. I got him some new food and he seems to eat it a little bit, but he still isn't eating as much but he's drinking a lot of water. I also put half of his cage shavings and the other half I put down pillowcases so it wouldn't be so uneven for him. When I set him on the floor, he seems to walk fine. He doesn't wobble anymore like he did on Monday, but he does fall over sometimes on his side. It's almost like it is his right back leg. He is three years old so I don't know if this is just old age or not. Thanks for the help.
