I guess i'm having new baby syndrome but my hedgehog is almost 9 months old right now so I don't think he should be losing any quills anymore. This morning I woke up and there were about 6 in his cage, there have been 1 or two randomly over the last couple of weeks. Last week he seemed to be shedding his belly fur but that basically stopped i think it's because it's been warmer recently. I notice that most people say that hedgies should eat 1-2 tablespoons but I'm lucky is AJ eats half a tablespoon. He seems like a pretty active and fast hedgehog. Should I be worried about this?

Quills are like hair and hedgehogs will continue to lose them throughout their lives. Also, it's not uncommon for hedgehogs to go through quilling at 6, 9 or 12 months.
