Hi everyone,
My gf & I are looking into getting another hedgehog since our little Prickles passed last year of WHS :( . Before we "make the plunge" we're re-stocking all essential supplies for our new hoglet. As I was looking at various websites, I came across this Small Animal Heating Pad and would like ya'lls advice. Does this look like it would be safe for a hedgie? :?: Thanks in advance for any advice or insight you may have!

Do u have a link for the heating pad?
I think most people here do not use/like heating pads.

Heating pads and under tank heaters only heat the floor of the cage in the spot where the heater is. The whole cage environment needs to be at a suitable temperature. Heating pads are very warm so when they leave the heating pad area, the air feels even cooler because of it being so warm where they sleep. A far better and healthier option is a ceramic heat emitter which will warm the whole cage environment without having such a drastic change in temperature.
