Hello! my two year old hedgie hasn't ever been keen on any of the toys Ive tried. Ive tried TP tubes and fleece dig boxes (he'd usually just sleep in those) when he's out bonding, he loves to cuddle, burrow, and explore but doesn't interact with items much.

He has a little plastic hut with fleece strips that he sleeps in, and a fleece snuggle sack he likes to dig and sleep in in his cage.

Does he like to push things or tug on things?

when he's burrowing he likes to bite the fabric and tug on it!

Depending on the type of cage your using, take a strip of fleece or two and attach it to the top of the cage so he has a good game of tug.

You can also play a gentle game of tug during bonding. (That's one of Fitzgerald's favorites.)

As for the dig box, are you hiding treats in it? Hidden treats are often what entices a hedgie to use a dig box.
