okay so i am thinking of this new idea, and im wondering if there is something wrong with it that i may be missing. okay, well the basic idea is, to put strips of velcro around the length of the wheel, and put velcro on a strip of fleece (cage liner) and velcro it on. then, if you wanna clean it, just stick it in the washer and velcro it back on. is there something wrong with this idea??

There is nothing that immediately comes to mind health wise, but caught toenails could be a problem. Inky often gets his front toenails caught in fleece. I'm also not sure how poop mixture would be for running on, on fleece.

yeah i was thinking of both those things. maybe i could try a different material... maybe better quality.

Anything that toenails can get caught in is not a good idea. I thought of that idea years ago but the only fabric I felt might be suitable was heavy tight woven canvas and I still had concerns.
