Hi all. I have a 7 month old hedgehog, which I think some of you will remember.
He changed color for the 4th time now.

He used to be this guy when I adopted him at 5 months old:

Then after a month he turned into this color:

And now, after quilling on his 7th month, he is now this:

Here's another picture of him right now:

Can anyone help me with the color?
I never realized hedgehogs could change color after their 9 week old quilling.
Thanks in advance! :)

Wow... it even looks like his nose changed color. Looks dark in the first photo, then red in the last.

Really?
Thanks for the nice comments.

Now I am stuck with this one.
Got him this morning. Is he a champagne?

He has dark ruby eyes though, not red.
Guy I got him from thinks he's a cinnicot, but don't cinnicot have orange-ish color?

Only 2 months old.
I know they get their adult colors at 9 weeks, but is it likely that this guy will change his color?

In my past experience, I haven't had any change from their baby color except for the guy on the first page.

Thanks, LizardGirl

We can't be sure of adult colouring until 9 weeks (like you said) but I'm sure we can guess, and if it changes, guess again!

I would think Algerian Apricot or Champagne, but I could be wrong.

That's okay.
Your guess is better than my guess. Haha.
I guess I'll just have to post 9 week old pictures then.

Thank you so much.

EDIT: Here's a clearer picture I think.
This male has eyes that turn red with flash

This male's eyes don't turn red with flash, but it looks dark ruby to me.

I got these 2 guys because they are so cute. Hehe.
