Hedgehog’s third eyelid exposed for weeks

Hello. I took my hedgehog Waffles to the vet over a month ago because I noticed what looked to some kind of discharge or growth in both of her eyes. She told me that her third eyelids were exposed and prescribed some artificial tears ointment. A month later and it’s still there. Has anyone dealt with this before? Is it something else?
