so, its getting cold here in miami this week, well, DeCaf is in my bedroom but i have a sliding door and it get really cool in here if its cold outside. i read somewhere about using a human heating pad under the bin to keep him warm! IS this true? would i leave if on the whole night? with if its not yet under the normal temp. for DeCaf but i'm afraid it MAY get cooleeer? any suggestions??

Heating pads work great just put it under one half of his cage so he can get away from the heat if he needs to also only put it on the lowest setting and you can just leave it on. It make Sure you check the temp now and then to make sure it's not too hot.

Well, the heating pad will keep the bottom of the cage warm, but you want to make sure the actual air is warm too. That's why most people use a ceramic heat emitter or a space heater. If you can't do that, then you might want to move him to a room where it stays a bit warmer, if that's possible.
