I have read loads of forums and reviews of various products. I have come to the conclusion that the zoo zone 2 is most appropriate. what I'm not 100% sure on is heating. some people say to use a CHE where others say it could melt the cage and be a fire hazard. some say heat mats are great others say they are not due to not heating the air around. Some people also say to put them under the cage and others it must be in the cage to actual be affective. I have found this online and was wondering if it is suitable to put in a zoo zone 2 (guessing i would need to drill a hole in the plastic first)

Also if I was to get this what should I put on top of it, as its metal and we don't want any burns??

Help much appreciated!

Thanks

I would never use a heating pad for a hedgehog. It can burn them easily and/or overheat. I would stick to a CHE light and thermostat, as this is what most people use and seems to work the best.
